The Mobile Money Payout API enables you to send payouts directly to recipients’ mobile money wallets.

How It Works

Step 1 - Retrieve Account Balance

This endpoint retrieves account balance that can help check if merchant has enough funds to perform a payout

Step 2 - Validate payout details

Preview Mobile Money Payout

Validates mobile money payout details like phone number, amount, order-reference, fee

Step 3 - Initiate Mobile Money Payout

Create Mobile Money Payout

Initiate a mobile money payout by sending a request to the API. The specified amount will be transferred to the recipient’s mobile wallet.

Step 4 - Check payout status

Check Payout Status

This endpoint queries for the payout status using payout’s Order Reference
